Clean Energy Technology & Electric Vehicles in Iceland

The CREATE Energy Center faculty cohort was given the opportunity to delve into the depths of renewable energy solutions and gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject from experts in the field. During the program, faculty had access to real-world experiences as they examined Iceland's achievements and challenges in sustainability and renewable energy through social, economic, environmental and political lenses. Additionally, they were given the chance to learn about Iceland's unique culture and its symbiotic relationship with the natural environment. The outcomes of the CREATE International Project are to improve technical curriculum and instruction in the U.S., to strengthen career pathways for students, and to advance the American clean energy and clean transportation workforce.
